Employee of the Week

Breed: Crested Polish

Eggs: White

General: Chidi is our bravest girl. When I take photos, she is always the first to come to the camera and scope things out. She once jumped out of the coop, in the dark of night, to find her friend who we had taken out for medical care. She may wander off on her own to ponder the mysteries of the universe from time to time, but she is never far from her two best friends Tahani and Lavender, or her sister Billy.

Favorite treat: Tomatoes and grubs.

Vocalness: Quiet until I get the blow dryer out. When Chidi’s hair gets wet in the rain, I have to give her a quick blow out so she doesn’t get too cold. At the salon, she does not hesitate to let it all out.

Pet peeve: She is generally sweet and docile, but also very protective and won’t stand for anyone bullying her closest friends.
